Cancion Canibal Cabaret
Night Owl Recording was there to record Amalia's Xicanx's feminist punk rock musical "The Canción Cannibal Cabaret. The performance in August 2019 took place at the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center in San Antonio, Texas. The drums and audience tracks were captured with True Systems preamps, the rest through Presonus AI preamps straight to Pro Tools. Wide stereo pairs of AT 4041 mics and a coincident pair of Russian-made Octava M12 mics were used to record the audience.
