LeVar Burton Reads
LeVar Burton (Reading Rainbow, Star Trek) came to the Paramount Theater in Austin, Texas and Night Owl Recording was there to capture it. Part of LeVar's tour LeVar Burton Reads, this podcast featured the story of local Austin author Kendra Fortmeyer and the music of synth whiz Peter Tran. The house was packed and the evening was truly magical.
LeVar's voice was tracked through Presonus AI preamps straight into Pro Tools 12. The audience was captured in stereo with a pair of Audio Technica 4041 microphones through True Systems Precision 8 pre-amplifiers.
